Urban Balcony Raised Bed

Made from 100% recycled plastic – this raised bed is a modern anthracite colour combined with a unique wood texture for an attractive finish. The plastic is UV and weather resistant for maximum durability.

Straight sides even when full – the raised bed comes complete with a metal strut which fits halfway down the length of the raised bed to prevent the sides from bowing when full with compost.

Compost will not become waterlogged – at the base of the raised bed is a ready fitted hose adaptor allowing you to fit a hose to the underside of the raised bed to allow water to drain away. Marks are also indicated on the base of the raised bed when you can drill your own drainage holes if required.

Use with or without legs – if you want a planter rather than a raised bed then you don’t need to fit the 15¾” / 40cm legs.  

Urban cloche cover – this ingenious accessory fits neatly over the raised bed and is designed to increase temperatures for accelerated growth and earlier harvest. It also provides maximum protection to your plants as they grow – your plants are protected from both the weather and pests. This light permeable cover also features water recesses along the top with drip holes – so the cover can be left in place as you water your plants.

Balcony Raised Bed –1ft 2½in / 37cm wide x 2ft 5½in / 75cm long x 2ft 1½in / 65cm total height, 10in / 25cm deep bed. Compost capacity approx. 48 litres.
Cloche Cover – 1ft 2½in / 37cm wide x 2ft 5½in / 75cm long x 8¾in / 22cm high.

Self-Assembly :
Supplied for simple self-assembly, no tools required. The legs simply clip securely into the base of the raised bed.
