Nitrozyme

Nitrozyme is based upon a highly concentrated and purified extract of marine kelp and contains a vast array of natural growth enhancers.

Nitrozyme has been tested on many commercial crops and has shown outstanding yield increases.

Supplied in a highly concentrated form – dilution rates can be as low as 1ml Nitrozyme to 1 lire of water depending on what it is being used for. 

Nitrozyme has many uses:
Use when watering lawns and borders. It’s especially useful for pots, tubs and hanging baskets.
Use in hydroponic systems.
Use for foliar feeding, misting the entire plant.
Use for seed germination – soak seeds in a solution of water and nitrozyme for 24 hours before germinating in the usual way.
Use prior to taking cuttings – spray or mist the stock plant with a solution of nitrozyme and water about 2 weeks before taking cuttings. This will produce a flush of vigorous new shoot growth and provide plenty of material for cuttings. 
Use with new cuttings, misting them thoroughly with nitrozyme diluted in water.
Use with propagation cubes – such as rockwool – soaking the cubes prior to use.

Nitrozyme Test Results

Below are just a selection of test results showing it’s different uses and it’s effect:

Nitroyme and Impatiens – the use of nitrozyme has been found to increase the rate of germination, growth and flowering. It can shorten by 4 days the time required to grow impatiens seedlings for bedding plants. Plants treated with nitrozyme had 50% more leaves than their untreated counterparts, and these leaves were a third larger than on untreated plants. Conclusions from this test:
44% improvement in germination rate
57% more leaves
34% larger leaves
5 days earlier flowering
6% reduction in operation time.

Nitroyme and Cucumber Seed Germination – the use of nitrozyme affected root length, root volume and stem length. Measurements taken after 6 days showed 37% more root length, 50% more feeder roots and 67% more stem length. In addition treated stems were noticeably thicker, treated plants showed almost no fungus (untreated plants showed fungus) and treated plants took much longer to dry up after removed from moisture. 

Nitrozyme and Vegetables – tests were carried out to look at the differences in weight, size and appearance between treated and untreated crops.
Cabbage – weight increased by 38%, circumference by 25%
Carrots – weight increased by 68%, width by 11% and overall appearance by 36%
Lettuce – weight increased by 44%, circumference by 32%
Onions – weight increased by 12%, diameter by 17%, firmness by 18%, colour by 46%
Potatoes – weight increased by 17%
Tomatoes – weight increased by 110%, diameter by 35%
