Deep Root Planter

Manufactured from – long-life, pressure treated timber with a 15 year anti-rot warranty. The timber is FSC certified – this means the timber used comes from properly managed forests and controlled sources.

Available in two lengths – 3ft 3 inches / 100cm or 5ft 11 inches / 180cm
Width – 2ft 4 inches / 70cm
Height – 2ft 7 inches / 80cm
Planting depth – 1ft 3 inches / 39.2cm
Weight approx. 36kg for the 3ft 3 inches long, 55kg litres for 5ft 11 inches long.

Compost capacity – approximately 180 litres for the 3ft 3 inches long, 350 litres for 5ft 11 inches long.

Self-Assembly – these Deep Root Planters are provided flat packed for self-assembly. For ease of assembly the side and end panels are supplied part assembled – please see the instruction leaflet for full assembly details. Whilst fairly straightforward to build you will need a drill and a screwdriver as the holes are not pre-drilled.

Please Note: if using to grow food produce it is recommended that you line the bed with a membrane, such as weed mulch, before adding the soil.

Please Note: unfortunately, these items cannot be delivered to Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland or any other Offshore Islands.
